Hey friends, it’s Marty Chappell here from Cash 4 Cars Rochester, back with another round of summer pick-ups. The heat’s rolling in, the lawns are green, and the pace hasn’t slowed a bit. Whether folks are making room in the driveway or cashing in to cover rising summer expenses, I’ve been on the road turning clunkers into cash, and keeping it eco-friendly every step of the way.
Here’s a look at how my recent journey unfolded across Western New York:
Day 1: Victor, Canandaigua, and Gates
I started the morning in Victor, where Bob had a sun-baked 1998 Dodge Dakota pickup waiting in the driveway. The AC might’ve been out, but we sealed the deal quickly, and Bob was glad to see it go.
Next, I cruised down to Canandaigua, always a beautiful summer drive near the lake, to pick up a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo. The car had been sitting through several winters, but the owner was happy to send it off and enjoy some unexpected summer cash.
I wrapped up the day in Gates, picking up a 2004 Honda. The trees were thick with green leaves, and grills were already firing up in the neighborhood. The customer appreciated my quick response so they could focus on their weekend BBQ.
Day 2: Rochester and Bergen
Day two brought me through Rochester, where I hauled off two more vehicles: a 2007 Saturn and a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. The owners were glad to avoid listing them online, especially with the heat kicking up and vacations on the horizon. A handshake, a tow, and cash in their hands, it doesn’t get easier.
Out in Bergen, I picked up a 2009 Cobalt that had been sitting since early spring. The yard was full of summer flowers, and the owner was relieved to have one less thing to deal with as the summer projects piled up.
Day 3: Spencerport, Greece, and Williamson
I started the third day in Spencerport with a 2010 Kia Soul. The neighborhood was full of the hum of lawnmowers and the smell of fresh-cut grass. Another fast, clean pickup for a grateful seller.
Then I headed to Greece, where I met the owner of a 2016 Ford Escape. They wanted to upgrade before summer vacation and were happy to skip the hassles of selling privately.
Finally, I ended in Williamson, collecting a 2019 Hyundai Elantra with a blown engine. The owner was relieved to get rid of the dead weight and put some money toward their next vehicle.
Why Recycling a Junk Vehicle Matters
Each summer pickup helps someone declutter, get paid, and support recycling. These vehicles don’t just sit and rust, they’re dismantled, recycled, and their materials put back into use. That’s good for your wallet and for the environment.
And let’s not forget the economy, between inflation and new government tariffs driving up import costs, folks are finding smart ways to save and simplify. Selling that old car is one of them.
If you’ve got a car you’re not using, give me a call. I’ll show up fast, with cash and a tow truck, no stress, no mess.
That’s the Cash 4 Cars Rochester way.
Until next time, stay cool out there!
