Spring Adventures with Cash 4 Cars Rochester: Recycling on the Road

Hi folks, Marty Chappell here again from Cash 4 Cars Rochester. With spring finally pushing winter aside in Western New York, I’m back on the road, hauling in vehicles for scrap and recycling—and helping folks put cash in their pockets while we do a little something good for the environment.

Every day’s a new adventure, and today’s route took me through several of our beautiful Rochester-area towns. It was a full day between the mud, the thawing snowbanks, and a few springtime rainstorms—but nothing better than helping people clear out their old vehicles and giving them fair cash in return.

Stop #1: 2008 Chevy Blazer in Spencerport

The day kicked off in Spencerport, where I picked up a 2008 Chevy Blazer that had seen better days. Nestled near the Erie Canal, Spencerport was foggy this morning, but the air had that fresh spring scent—mud, melting snow, and new beginnings. The owner was thrilled to see me so quickly, and I had the Blazer winched up in no time.

Stop #2: 2014 Chevy Cruze in Rochester

Next, I was off to the heart of Rochester to tow a 2014 Chevy Cruze. This one had transmission trouble, but the owner didn’t want to deal with costly repairs. Instead, I gave him a fair cash offer and handled the paperwork on the spot. That’s what I love most—making it easy.

Double Duty in Hilton: Jeep Liberty & Jeep Compass

Hilton had a doubleheader for me—a Jeep Liberty and a Jeep Compass. The Liberty had engine issues, and the Compass had been sitting all winter. The homeowner wanted to free up space in their driveway, and with two vehicles gone and cash in hand, they were all smiles. The drive along Lake Ontario’s southern shore was a scenic bonus.

On to Brockport for a 2013 Mitsubishi Galant

Then, I headed west to Brockport to pick up a 2013 Mitsubishi Galant. It was parked just outside SUNY Brockport, and the owner, a recent grad, was moving out of town. Rather than deal with selling it privately, they chose the stress-free option—and got paid fast.

Two Pickups: 2007 Dodge Aspen & 2007 Honda Civic

While still in the area, I made quick stops for a 2007 Dodge Aspen and a 2007 Honda Civic. Both were non-runners but perfect candidates for recycling. Every vehicle I haul away is one more step toward reducing waste and reusing materials—a win for the environment.

Final Stretch: 2007 Dodge Dakota in Palmyra

To wrap up the day, I headed to Palmyra, a peaceful town with rolling hills and wide-open skies. There, I picked up a 2007 Dodge Dakota with a rusted-out undercarriage. The seller was glad to be rid of it, and I was happy to help.

Every vehicle we remove has the potential to be recycled—parts reused, metal repurposed. That means fewer raw materials needing mined and a cleaner planet overall.
