Two Days on the Road: Spring 2025 Scrap Pickups Around Rochester, NY

Hey everyone—Marty here from Cash 4 Cars Rochester. It’s Spring 2025, and I’m out doing what I love: helping people clear out old vehicles, put cash in their hands, and do something good for the environment. The trees are finally leafed out, the flowers are in full bloom, and the air smells like fresh starts and second chances.

Over the course of two beautiful spring days, I picked up six vehicles across the Greater Rochester region. Here’s a glimpse into how it went down:

Day 1: From Gates-Chili to Brockport and Rochester

The morning kicked off in Gates-Chili, where I met Jasmine and picked up her 2003 Toyota Camry. It had been sitting in the driveway for a while, and with spring cleaning in full swing, she figured it was time to move on. I showed up, offered her a fair offer, and she smiled before I finished loading the car.

My next stop was Brockport, where I met Joe, who had a 2004 Camry he no longer needed. We chatted for a bit about how older vehicles still have value—even if they’re not running—and I handed him cash right there.

In the afternoon, I met Elaina in Rochester to haul away her 2016 Kia Sportage. The SUV had some issues, and repairs didn’t make sense financially. She mentioned she’d been hearing about possible new government tariffs, and with prices rising across the board, getting quick money for the vehicle was a welcome relief.

Day 2: Elba, Hilton, and Henrietta

The next morning started with a scenic drive out to Elba, NY, where Steve had a rugged 1998 Ford Ranger waiting. The truck had seen its fair share of upstate winters, but we both agreed it had one last job to do—get recycled and put its parts to use.

Then I headed to Hilton to pick up a 2004 Subaru Forester. The drive was gorgeous with spring in full bloom along the Lake Ontario shoreline. The owner appreciated that her old Subaru would be put to better use than just rusting away.

Finally, I wrapped up in Henrietta, where Ed had a 2008 Dodge Ram he wanted gone. We sealed the deal in less than 15 minutes, and Ed thanked me for helping him get top value with no hassle.
